What are the steps in the production of a website? Up Arrow

You are kept up to date and have control and approval of the production of your website at every major milestone.
  1. Initial Consultation
    This is a free initial consultation to determine your requirements. We gather information about your company, services, audience, purpose, site goals and your exact needs. When you are ready to discuss this please call us Toll Free: 1-877-927-3030.

  2. You provide us your design ideas and color preferences
    We ask you to provide examples of websites and colors you like, and your competitors’ websites. We also want to see any logos, letterhead, brochures, advertisements, business card etc or any thing else that would give us an idea of the image and colors you use.

  3. Proposal
    After we have addressed all your ideas, questions and requirements, we provide you a written proposal that contains specifics regarding the construction of your website including prices, a payment schedule and contract.

  4. Payments
    We require a 25% Deposit to start your project once you agree to the proposal above by signing the proposal and returning it to us by email or fax.

  5. You provide us your content
    You will provide us with the text and any other content for your website and any specific pictures you would like. We can provide you with access to thousands of royalty free stock photos.

  6. We provide you with one or two creative "mockups" of your proposed design
    Approximately within 2 working days, of you providing us the information above we will provide you with one or two creative "mockups" of your proposed website via a link on our servers.You must be satisfied with the design before we proceed. You request revisions as necessary and then you provide Final Approval.  Upon your approval of design, a further 50% payment on your package is required.

  7. Web Construction and final approve of the finished website
    After receiving your final approval on the "mockup", we will work on the construction of your website. After the site is built, you will be able to view all pages to make sure everything is exactly how you want it. We will make any required changes and request you sign off on the final approval and make your final payment.

  8. Launching Your Website
    After final approval and payment has been received, your website will be published on your domain.

  9. Ongoing Support
    After your website is launched, we will provide 3 months of free editing and required updates and changes. Thereafter, you will be responsible for this. You may want to consider having up provide you a Content Management System (CMS).

What sized company are you?

There are two of us available full time for website design work.

There are two of us available full time for website design work. We are expert in designing websites and working with html code, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and the many software programs required. We also have available people who are expert in other disciplines such as computer programming. (php, SQL, javascript, coldfusion and more...).

 

Have you built a site like mine before?

We will have an expert on hand in your industry - it's you!

It is not necessary that a website designer be experienced with your industry. Its more critical to have a great color sense and to be creative. In any case, we do have an expert on hand in your industry - it's you!

No, we wouldn't do this.

No, we wouldn't do this. One of the things we emphasize is designing websites that rank well in the search engine rankings. A site constructed entirely in Flash would not rank well since the search engines like Google cannot read flash sites. Having said this, we are big fans of Flash and use it for our add-ons such as audio, video, imaging swapping and PowerPoint presentations.

No one can make this guarantee.

No, we don't guarantee a top 10 ranking in Google or any other search engine. No one can make this guarantee. If anyone does then they are lying, cheating or delusional. There are two main aspects to Search Engine Optimization (SEO). Firstly it is coding the page so that your key phrases are emphasized. We do this. The second aspect is link building which is getting other sites (in the same industry, ideally) to link to you. More...

Usually it will take us about a week.
